What is included in a
Home Inspection?

During our inspection we will examine hundreds of individual items.  We will inspect for quality, conditions and the life expectancy of the major systems.  Listed below are the major systems and brief descriptions of some of the elements we examine during the inspections.

Structural Systems - foundation, floor, wall and roof structure, water infiltration

Heating and Cooling System - capacity, distribution, filtration, humidification, and safety devices

Plumbing System - pipes, drains, vents, faucets, water heater, and safety devices

Electrical System - entrance cable, distribution panels, circuits, conductors, grounding and safety devices

Attic Ventilation System - insulation and ventilation types, amounts of efficiency

Building Interior - windows, doors, walls, floors, fireplace, and stairways

Roofing System - shingles, flashings, gutters, downspouts, and chimneys

Kitchen and Bath - built-in appliances, cabinets, countertops, sinks, tubs, toilets, and ventilation

Exterior and Grounds - siding, garage, porches, sidewalks, driveways, decks, patios, proper drainage
